Our new growing area

With the support of British Waterways and Capital Growth we are changing this area from a 20 year old rubbish dump to a wildlife haven, orchard and vegetable patch. Like all things worth waiting for this is taking longer than we first thought!! On the bright side it will allow us to be well prepared for the season ahead when we look forward to shearing our knowledge with the local community. We now have vegetable beds made up and waiting for this years crops.

We have planted a native hedge that will provide food and shelter for a wide variety of wildlife from beetles to birds. We hope that it looks pretty too with dog rose and flowering currents planted in amoungst the hawthorne and beech.
