Our new growing area
With the support of British Waterways and Capital Growth we are changing this area from a 20 year old rubbish dump to a wildlife haven, orchard and vegetable patch. Like all things worth waiting for this is taking longer than we first thought!! On the bright side it will allow us to be well prepared for the spring when we look forward to shearing our knowledge with the local community...

Potatoes can be grown in containers too if you haven't the garden for it, as longs as it is deep! One seed potato will give you a healthy crop for everyone to enjoy.
N.B. It is important to only grow potatoes from certified seed potatoes - they are raised blight free so do not pose a risk to potato crops.

We have a range of fruit from apples to peaches. We stock fan trained as well as untrinaed trees. Cherries, pears, gages, plums, apples and necterines. Now is the perfect time to plant trees of any sort. They will be able to become established as soon as the growing season starts and be less suseptable to drought. However a newly plantined tree will benefit from regular watering in hot dry conditions in its first year.
Forsythia
