Purchase seeds for the year ahead.

Many seeds need an early start so don't leave it until it's too late.

A little planing now of what you want to grow will mean you wont be disappointed.

 

Spread organic matter.

Evenly spread garden compost or well-rotted manure should be added to your beds and boarders.

Rain and earthworms will mix it into the soil and keep it in good shape.
